I was in an accident about 5 years ago, had a couple back surgeries and missed about 2 years of work, the latest time off work was about a year ago. I am on workmans comp due to a shoulder injury at work. Countrywide wants us to pay and extra $1200 on our first a month on a interest only loan with our regular payment $3300. We are also in a payment program with our second and they want us to pay and extra $460 plus the payment of $799 a month. As you can see that is going to be impossible. I only made the arrangements to stop the forclosure, but I know we can not do it. Also our particular first mortgage we can not do a loan modification on it. I will be off work for at least 6 more months. I have had shoulder surgery and I may have to have elbow surgery if I do not progress the way my doctor wants me to. This is not my primary residence home. This is my duplex rentals, I miss payments this year to a lot of my Countrywide home loans and other lenders because I had a complicated pregnancy last year and I was out for 8 months. Renting is our livelihood. I went to Countrywide in April of 2007 to try to work something out on all of my properties, but they surprise me this week when after all this time they had me waiting they did not come up with a work out plan, then this week they told me that they could not help me with the work out plan. And 464 Wilson is now in foreclosure. They required me last month to list the property despite I did not want to sell it. I was out for 8 months due to first time pregnancy complication (Pre-Eclampsia). Everybody is doing fine physically now and I got back to work last Feb 5th 2007 and since then I have been trying to settled debts backwards into the future....I have several properties under Countrywide that they are threathening me now that they are going to foreclose, I really did not want to foreclose any of these. I was able to make payments on time since I bought all these properties since 2000. Just because I was disabled last year, I got so financially short last Jan 2007 that I wasn\'t able to keep up, but things are rolling again as of June, but I had a big debt to consider. I been relying on Countrywide to help me out since April since somebody in the Work Out plan seem to be working on my file but after few months just dropping me like a ball. Had I known they won\'t help me anyway, I could have done some move early on, just like when Wilshire Credit tried to work something out with us as we were late as well on our mortgages there, now we are current, because they helped us out. But on Countrywide ones I was very much disappointed. Please help. My husband and I did not put up this livelihood to fail.

I was one of those that got caught up in the refi madness. Once I realized I had an adjustable and it was increasing I contacted the lender to get me a fixed rate loan immediately. Unfortunately the payments on this and my second are more than I can handle each month and I have now drained my savings to stay afloat and have been living off my credit cards which are now maxed out.
