I am married but my the loan is in my name. my husband is self employed and his income fluctuates. last year we fell behind and i was told that my only option was to put the past due amount in bankruptcy.  The bankrupty payment in addition to the mortgage payment was too much and we could never really get caught up. This home is in my mothers name, but I occupy the property with my 2 children and I pay the mortgage.  I got into some financial problems and the mortgage company worked out a repayment plan with me.  At the time I was paying $600 a month for my mortgage but when they worked out this repayment plan it went up to $900.  This is causing me to get into even more financial problems.  When I get taken off the plan because of situations where I could not make the payment they require me to make an even more larger payment in order to get back on the plan. Because of an situation that I had with my checking account this last payment I made will probably be returned so I will be taken off the plan again and will have to come up with money to avoid foreclosure proceedings. My daughter had a child and I have medical bills and my father is very ill, and to top things off my sister is unable to work. Chase is my mortagage company; I had contacted them about a payment plan and received two different pay options.  Last month I thought money from my 401K had been send to Chase.  I had to go to Ft Monmouth in NJ and then when I returned I had a notice from their lawyers dated 16 Nov saying the property was going to foreclosure.
I called and they said I have to send 2 pay stubs and 2 bank statements and not to send any money because it will be returned. Help with my Chase foreclosure
