I am a Realtor and out of Sales. I had to get a job that pays about half of what I was making. I have a 30yr fixed loan at 6.875% the loan bal. is around $324,000. This loan is only one year old, so no equity, the value of my home has dropped due to low neighborhood sales and foreclosed homes. The value now is about 260,000. I am also paying $400 per mo in PMI.
