My son was late on the payments . I called the mortgage company who notified me that they already started the process for forcloser. They agreed to work out a payment plan with me for 12 months however this includes legal fees that were attached because of the foreclosure process. Prior to me calling the mortgage i had never received notice that foreclosure was in progress. I can actually make the current payments however the contract that they have forward me stating that i would have to pay a total of a thousand something monthly with out missing a payment may be difficult. I now know i can pay my monthly mortgage which is 711.00 and even up to 850.00 monthly but over a thousand is very difficult to say, help modify my Homecomings loan

The payments are too high for us to keep up and pay our other bills. We really want to keep the house as long as the payments are something that we can afford. The mortgage company is Homecomings Financial. The sent a letter of dismissal of the foreclosure for now; however, we still need to get the payment plan modified in order to get caught up and keep our home.
We are trying to work with ASC, but very negative. My husbands overtime varies, he cannot take an extra job depending on when his full time position needs him. I have taken a second job plus my full time one. We want to stay in our home. We filed bankruptcy last year to save our home. We can;\'t spend what we don\'t have. In September 2003 I purchased my home on an 8.75 ARM two years later it adjusted and thus payments increased. In October I found out I was expecting my third child and in January 2006 after many difficulties with my pregnancy my doctor placed me on complete bed rest and I did not return to work until July. During this time I was receiving short term disability and my fiance had become ill and was off work and later declared totally disabled through Social Security Administration. I finally declared bankruptcy in February to keep my home as I had returned to work but of course payments are still too high. I was paying $975 have gone to $1471. I am back at work with stable income. Homecomings has now said that they are unable to do a loan modification because I can not afford a 6% fixed rate we need a Homecomings loan modification

I had contacted a loss mitigation company in December, they had instructed me during the process I was to make no payments and to only stay in communication with them. I kept emailing this company, IMC Financial Services, and they kept assuring me that everything was okay and they were awaiting communication from Homecoming Financial. I emailed continuously and was reassured all was well. In the meantime, I have now received a foreclosure notification with a deadline. I was only one payment behind when I contacted this loss mitigation company. I am now 4 down, Dec, Jan, Feb and Mar. The total bill is 4114.00 for the first mortgage and 1500.00 for the second. They have only filed Foreclosure on the first mortgage at this time. I have contacted Homecomings and they have expressed interest in helping me, however with the time frame they are stating this help could take, I could lose my home. I don't have the trust after reading several negative blogs about how Homecomings promised help and did not deliver. My situation has a good future. I can maintain the payments, just got a little excited about locking in my interest rate as I was in a balloon mortgage. After I received the foreclosure notice, I also received the increase in my payment notice.
